Fairies and Toadstools!

Hello, today I am sharing a card that has 2 of my favourite things - Fairies and Toadstools.

I decided it was time to look out my Promarkers and Flexmarkers and colour in. Sometimes we all need to escape from real life and take some time out to play. I love the Gorjuss Girl stamps and have one or two *cough* that I like to colour in.  I found a lovely piece of cardstock in my stash and decided to use the colours on it for my Fairy and the die cut toadstools. I have left a wee space at the top right corner so I can pop a sentiment onto once I decide if I can part with it lol.

Ingredients
Gorjuss Girl Stamp
Toadstool & Grass dies
Papers from Stash

I hope you like this card, and it inspires you to look out your pens and have a play!

In the summertime.

I can't believe it is the 1st of July, though you wouldn't know it from the weather here in Glasgow.

It's time for a new challenge over at Digi Sketch Challenges, and the theme is "In the Summertime", with the lucky winner receiving 7 digis of their choice from the fabulous Bugaboo Digi Stamps. There is a great sketch to follow this week too.

I used Summertime Peekers, Flower Pot and coloured her using Promarkers and Flexmarkers, the limited edition summer set from last year worked perfectly with the digi papers I opted to use.  I used my trusty sentiment stamp and punch from Stampin' Up to complete the card.

Ingredients
Coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers
Sentiment and punch from Stampin' Up
Nesties
Butterfly punch

I hope the card encourages you to join in with us this time.

Happy Birthday Crafty Hubby!

Tis the weekend *happy dance* and yesterday(26th) was crafty hubbys birthday.  I always struggle to make a card for him, as I want it to be totally perfect.  This year I decided to concentrate on his love of music and all things rock, and bought a fab digi from Kenny K and practised my best colouring lol.

Last weekend when we were up north in Aberdeen, I popped into The Papeterie and got a box or two *cough* of Diamond White paper, which is coated and is amazingly good for using with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I discovered this gem of a place a few years ago, and hubby used to deliver to the paper mill it is attached to when he lived/worked up there.

I digress....I loved making the card and I am delighted with the results.

Ingredients
Coloured with Pro and Flex Markers
Paper and guitar charm from stash.

Hope you like the card.

Let's hear it for the girls.

Is the theme over at the Digi Galore Challenge Blog, and it is sponsored by the fabulous MayzyArt. I love the MayzArt digis and have quite a few waiting to be coloured up.  This is my first DT card for Digi Galore, and following the theme of the challenge I opted to use the beautiful Frog Princess digi and make her very girly.

I coloured her using my trusty Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The frog is covered with Glossy Accents to make him nice and shiny :D I also put Glossy Accents onto her crown. And what princess is complete without some sparkles?

I opted to keep the card as digi as I could, and used papers from digi kits(details in ingredients)

Pink and green background paper - Carina Gardiner
Memory Box Corner Die

Happy Birthday!!!

Is the theme this week over at the Willow Sketchie Challenge blog, and that's a bit of a coincidence as it is my birthday on Saturday :D  This time I followed the sketch and the theme to make my card for the DT.

I used the adorable Butterfly and Daisy digi stamp, and it is an absolute bargain at only £1.  There is still a huge 50% off CDroms and Clear Stamps over at the Willow Design Store and with free P&P what are you waiting for?

I coloured in the image with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, and had to make the wings sparkly with some Stickles. I opted for a purple colour scheme for a change, and coloured in my white grosgrain ribbon with Promarkers to make it match my card.

Ingredients
Promarkers and Flexmarkers
Stickles
Nesties
Butterfly punch
Paper, ribbon and sentiment from stash.

I hope you pop over to the Willow Sketchie Challenge blog this week and join us, there is a great prize up for grabs. Hope to see you there :D

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges;

Christmas with the Christies.

I can't believe Christmas is behind us and we are racing towards a whole new year full of exciting things.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, we had a very relaxed and peaceful one, just how we like it.

And as is tradition we made our cards to each other. I am ashamed to say hubby is a much better crafter than I am *hangs head*.

I used a Karber Digi for hubbys card and opted for Rudolph, as he supports Aberdeen FC and the fans are known as "Rudolphs". Probably because it is soooo cold up there, and you end up with a red nose lololol.  I coloured him(Rudolph not hubby) with Flexmarkers and Promarkers, and used Fluffy Stuff on his hat. I then popped him onto some delicious papers from the Santa's Workshop Christmas Kit from Sarah Hurley. I just love this kit and will be using it throughout the year as it is so versatile, and has more than just Christmas papers in it.  I embellished it with tiny snowflakes in white pearlescent card, popped some wee gems on them and added the word "husband" which I die cut from the Vintage Market die from Tim Holtz, I also distressed this using Black Soot DI.

Here is hubbys card to me, I love it. I will let you be the judge of which one is best ;-)

I may start encouraging him to make more cards.

I would like to enter my card(the top one) into the following challenges;
Di Digi Designs - Christmas
Craft Us Crazy - Merry Christmas
Hanna and Friends - Christmas
