Launch day is finally here.

And the gorgeous Secret Rose Garden is now available in all its glory to see. It has been so hard for me to keep schtum about all the delicious items in the kit, but Phill and Sarah have been keeping me in check (well trying to lol).

This range has been a long time in the making, and the wait has certainly been worth it. I was privileged enough to get a kit to play with last week and spent lots of time oohing and aaahing at my screen before deciding what to make.  The range of papers are superb, from love hearts to buttons, gingham to polka dots, what else could a crafter ask for?  Anyway, here are my creations.

I used the precoloured digis, and love the detail that is in each one. The squirrel is super cute. All the items I have used are available in the Secret Rose Garden Shop, and there are so many things available in the range.

Why not pop over to the FB Page for ideas and inspiration? There is also a Blog and Gallery.

Thanks for reading my post today, hope to see you again soon xx

Pretty stash is "All Sewn Up" by Sarah Hurley.

Today is a very exciting day, Sarah Hurley is launching a brand new kit called "All Sewn Up". And as you may have guessed from the name, it is packed full of delicious sewing related goodies.

The papers are gorgeous, they have cute little cotton reels, measuring tape, stitches, flowers and lots more, and I used a selection of them to make my cards for the launch.  There are also beautiful embellishments, including buttons, bobbins and mannequins, and I just adore the hand drawn digi stamps that Sarah has included in this kit and I had to use one of them on my cards(they are even pre-coloured so ideal for quick cards).

You may have noticed some other pretty embellishements on my cards like the crochet flower, glass jar and twine, which are also available from Sarahs online shop and some of the items were in the A Few of My Favourite Things kit.

For those of you who prefer "real" stamps, there are two sets available to compliment the range, along with papers.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post, hope you love the new range as much as we do, and remember to pop over to the Facebook Event for the launch of Sarah and Phill Martins Secret Garden range.

It's all about Recycling at Sarah Hurley Challenges...

And it's always good to incorporate saving the planet into crafting :)  This month over at the Sarah Hurley Challenge Blog, the theme is Recycling.  I discovered an old frame I had forgotten all about and decided to make it into a pretty memo frame for my craft table.

I used some of the delicious papers, stamps and embellishments from the "A Few of My Favourite Things" kit.  I received the first kit last week and couldn't wait to play.

How pretty is that? It contains stamps, glassline envelopes, twine on an adorable  mini wooden spool, buttons, sequins, journalling cards, 8x8 papers and lots more.

I am off on a tangent...here is the picture of my recycled frame. I had to use some of the Chipboard Stars that I had covered with Indigo Blu flakes, how cute are they?

I hope this encourages you to recycle something and enter our challenge this month x

I would like to enter the following challenges;
The Cheerful Stamp Pad - Anything but a card.
Crafty Boots - Out of your comfort zone(altered items)
Incy Wincy Designs - Anything but a card.
