CD Case with a difference.

Hi, I thought I would share another project I made for the Sarah Hurley Lookbook 3.  This time I came out of my comfort zone and chose to alter something, and used a background from  Journaled 365, Journal Basics and a stamp from the fabulous Odds and End stamp set.

There are a few pictures, and I will explain as I go.

I took a blank CD and CD case, and made them "retro" using the Cassette stamp from the Odds and Ends set.  I used lots of different colours of Memento ink pads to make it really bright and funky.

I stamped the CD too, to make it match the CD case.

I printed out a paper from the Journaled 365 digi kit, and to make it even more vivid I printed it onto photo paper and it looks amazing.
It is truly inky fun, without all the mess which suits me fine *happy face*

Ingredients
Journaled 365 - Journaled Basics by Sarah Hurley
Odds & Ends Stamp Set by Sarah Hurley
Memento Ink Pads
Photo paper, CD Case and CD from stash.

It is a great way to personalise gifts, or update the old "Mix Tape" and bring it right up to date.

I hope this inspires you to try something different in your craft room.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges;
That Craft Place - Makes for Men
My Time To Craft - Show us The Inside
Delicious Doodles - Anything But a Card
Crafting By Designs - Remembering Our Childhood(Mix Tapes)
Whimsical Designs - Alter It

  1. What a super fun idea. That background stamp is so cute! That sentiment made me laugh because I just asked my daughter the other day if she new what a walkman or tape player was and of course she had no clue. She is a 90's kid. Times have changed for sure!! Thank you for joining us this week at Whimsical Designs.
