Happy Friday Eve!

I am slowly catching up with things here inbetween nurses visits and day to day life.

Today I am sharing a graduation card I made for someone who recently received their BSc.

The main image is the DNA of Seratonin, and the background paper is the Periodic Table.  I used my trusty Cameo for the border and the wee caps!

The recipients favourite colour is red, so I managed to use that as the matting layer.  The recipient loved it and I hope you do too.

Remember and pop back soon, Carol x

Looooong time no blog!

*Blows off dust" Well hello, it's been a while *cough*. As some of you will know we have had a lot going on at Domestic Goddess HQ this past few months. My hubby has been rather ill and had an extended(11 week) stay in hospital, I am delighted to say he is now home and is doing well on his long road to recovery. While he relaxes and catches up with all his recorded shows, I am going to try and dabble in crafting and blogging again, wish us luck lol!

I haven't been crafting the past few months, but didn't blog cards I made before things got rather chaotic. Here is the first, it was for a special friends granddaughters Christening, and the brief was pink, butterflies and bird cage!

I used my trusty Cameo to make a large birdcage, I just love the versatility you get with the ability to change the size of the cut and look how amazingly it cut through really thick mirri card! I am totally loving my Stix2 Pick Up Pencil for adding wee gems and pearls to my cards, it was something I avoided as I was never able to get the precision I wanted. The pencil makes it so easy to get them exactly where you want!
