Moustache you a question?

Are you as crazy about the moustache trend as I am? I adore them and can't get enough of them.  You can imagine how delighted I was when Sarah Hurley added moustache stamps to the range.  Last months "A Few of my Favourite Things" kit was simply fan"tash"tic :D, it was packed full of moustache papers, embellishments and this fab sentiment and a moustache stamp. I also have the Odds & Ends Stamp Set which is choc full of yummy stamps.  I decided to make my own backing paper using the 'tash stamp and popped the sentiment onto some 1mm foam to give the card dimension.

Ingredients
Moustache Stamp & Sentiment - Sarah Hurley, A Few of My Favourite Things Kit
Memento Ink and pen
Silver paper from The Papeterie.

This week is a very exciting week for us all, as the third edition of LookBook goes live and it will be full of inspiration to get you making beautiful things using Sarahs amazing ranges.

Happy Birthday Crafty Hubby!

Tis the weekend *happy dance* and yesterday(26th) was crafty hubbys birthday.  I always struggle to make a card for him, as I want it to be totally perfect.  This year I decided to concentrate on his love of music and all things rock, and bought a fab digi from Kenny K and practised my best colouring lol.

Last weekend when we were up north in Aberdeen, I popped into The Papeterie and got a box or two *cough* of Diamond White paper, which is coated and is amazingly good for using with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I discovered this gem of a place a few years ago, and hubby used to deliver to the paper mill it is attached to when he lived/worked up there.

I digress....I loved making the card and I am delighted with the results.

Ingredients
Coloured with Pro and Flex Markers
Paper and guitar charm from stash.

Hope you like the card.

Let's hear it for the girls.

Is the theme over at the Digi Galore Challenge Blog, and it is sponsored by the fabulous MayzyArt. I love the MayzArt digis and have quite a few waiting to be coloured up.  This is my first DT card for Digi Galore, and following the theme of the challenge I opted to use the beautiful Frog Princess digi and make her very girly.

I coloured her using my trusty Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The frog is covered with Glossy Accents to make him nice and shiny :D I also put Glossy Accents onto her crown. And what princess is complete without some sparkles?

I opted to keep the card as digi as I could, and used papers from digi kits(details in ingredients)

Pink polka dot paper - Secret Rose Garden Digi Kit
Pink and green background paper - Carina Gardiner

Another card from my colouring in fest last week.

And this time it is one of the beautiful hand drawn Rose Digi Stamps from Sarah Hurley. I am starting to get a wee bit more confident with my colouring and loved the results I got from colouring this.  I also coloured one in shades of purple and will blog that once I have made it into a card.

I used papers from the Secret Rose Garden Kit, as there are lovely polka dot papers in the kit. I cut the rose out with scalpel so you could really see all the details in it.

Ingredients
Coloured with Promarkers and Fexmarkers
Sentiment from Whimsy
Gems and plain papers from stash.

First sepia card.

It's the weekend, at last, and what busy week it has been.  As some of you will already know the lovely Sarah Hurley shall be on our screens on Create & Craft demoing Letraset goodies, details of the shows can be found here on Sarahs blog.  Sarah asked us for some new samples to spruce up her on screen work area, and I thought I would try a sepia card after being inspired by the last show I watched Sarah doing.

I have became slightly obsessed with sepia, and can't believe how good it looks using only 5 colours.  I used Burnt Sienna, Cinnamon, Tan, Putty and Tan and simply alternated the combination of them on this Saturated Canary digi stamp. I also popped some tiny pearls in her hair to make her a wee bit more glamorous.

Ingredients
Fancy Digi Stamp from Saturated Canary
Coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers
Cuttlebug embossing folder
Bazzill Basics card
Sentiment from a Kanban set
Nesties
Ribbon, flatback pearls, card candi and card blank from stash.

I hope you can tune in on Sunday and Monday and maybe learn some new tricks xx
